About the Adventure Travel Show

The Adventure Travel Show is the UK's biggest and longest-running event dedicated to adventure travel in all its forms from overlanding to kayaking, bike trekking to arctic cruising. 

 

Launched in 1997 in London's Olympia before moving to the Business Design Centre in Islington in 2025, the show has been a must-attend date for adventure-minded people who are looking to see the world on the path less travelled.

Each year over 100 small tour operators and destinations from every corner of the globe come to London to take part in the show. They cater to people who want to undertake journeys of a lifetime in the mountains of Nepal or crossing oceans on a round-the-world yacht.

But just as importantly the specialist operators at ATS offer experiences for travellers who prefer a softer type of adventure, exploring the wild plains of Africa from an ethically-run safari camp, seeing the Galapagos aboard a luxury small ship with a team of marine scientists, or closer to home, enjoying parts of Portugal by gravel bike that tourists rarely ever get to see.

Over the years, the theatres at the Adventure Travel Show have featured some of the UK's greatest explorers and adventurers including Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Levison Wood, Simon Reeve, Sean Conway, Rebecca Stephens, Benedict Allen, Dwayne Fields and Phoebe Smith. But they have also played host to people who just have epic levels of wanderlust and who have set off on their amazing adventures and returned home with real stories and unforgettable experience to share.
