Malawi is a genuine undiscovered gem in Africa. It’s a small but beautifully scenic and varied country, with landscapes changing round every turn. The highest mountain in central Africa (10,000ft), forested plateaux, rolling grassland hills, escarpments cut by broad rivers, open plains and, of course its own beach-fringed ‘inland sea’ – the freshwater Lake Malawi.

These landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for a host of activities and adventures. Trekking and mountain biking in the highlands and forests; wildlife safaris in the wilderness areas (on foot, by boat, by 4x4 and even on horseback); and plenty of watersports in and on the lake – from scuba diving & snorkeling to kayaking & sailing.
