Sri Lanka offers some unique kayaking combined camping expeditions where kayakers spend a few days paddling down some of the great rivers as well as ancient lakes built by kings of Sri Lanka while camping on the river banks and lake beds sometimes inside wildlife reserves and national parks.

If you are really lucky you may be able to paddle among the wild elephants on the banks of these water bodies. Not to mention the camp fire in the evenings where you can chill and bond with the group and your instructors.
