Authentic India Tours Launches New Culinary Tour with Award-Winning Chef Monisha Bharadwaj
Authentic India Tours has announced the release of its highly anticipated Culinary Tour to India, following the sell-out success of its previous chef-led departure.
Taking place 15–28 November 2026, this intimate 14-day small-group journey offers food-focused travellers an immersive exploration of India’s most celebrated culinary cities: Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
Led by award-winning chef, food historian and author Monisha Bharadwaj, the tour is designed for culturally curious travellers and passionate food lovers seeking deeper insight into India through its cuisine. Guests will enjoy market walks, hands-on cooking classes, chef-led demonstrations, street-food trails and meals in historic, family and heritage settings.
Two destinations on the itinerary - Lucknow and Hyderabad - are recognised by UNESCO as Creative Cities of Gastronomy, highlighting the global significance of their culinary traditions. From Mughlai and Awadhi specialities to Bengali and Hyderabadi cuisine, the journey showcases India’s extraordinary regional diversity through food.
With a maximum of just 12 participants, the tour combines expert guidance, carefully curated experiences and high-quality accommodation, including landmark hotels such as The Claridges, Taj Bengal, Taj Mahal Lucknow and Taj Krishna, with a farewell dinner at the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace.
Prices start from £6,390 per person, with strong early interest expected following the sell-out of the previous departure.
