After an incredible year in 2018, we’re so excited to see what’s next for our Seminar Sessions…
Information coming soon for The Adventure Travel Show 2019.
Highlights from last year included: Travel Writing Seminars, Travel Photography Seminars, Adventure Filming Seminars, Adventure by Motorcycle Seminars and Adventure Planning Seminars…
During these 12 seminars, the Wanderlust Magazine editors and leading industry experts will offer an introduction to the key areas of travel writing, travel photography and film-making. The seminars offered a mixture of informative lectures and open group discussion. They are designed to work alongside each other, so you can attend a single session, or come to more for a complete overview.
Each seminar lasts 2 hours with a limited number of participants to ensure you get the best learning environment possible – plus this gives you a brilliant chance to question the experts themselves.
Adventure by Motorcycle Seminars
Our Adventure by Motorcycle Seminars were split into absolute beginner and those who are taking the next step, with helpful and engaging content whether your next motorcycle adventure is still a daydream or ready to be a reality.
Adventure Planning Seminars
This specialist seminar was aimed at people who want to gain a better understanding about creating their own adventure, including the challenges and pitfalls that might be encountered and how to best deal with them. How do you prepare for such a trip? What questions should you be asking yourself? How do you get the most out of the experience once on the trip? An expert panel of world-renowned expedition planners with years of on-ground experience in many different and varied forms of travel will offer guidance on preparation and logistics to ensure you get the most out of a self-organised adventure.
Multi-day walking trips can be a wonderful experience – a journey of discovery and immensely rewarding, but only when you get things right. No matter what you are planning, these workshops provide an environment where you can get good, relevant advice and insight, to make any trekking trip a success, wherever in the world and whatever your level of experience.
From the basics of selecting the right gear and packing as light as possible, to the essentials for organising your own Himalayan trek, Cicerone’s experts are on hand to offer advice to help you prepare and have the best possible experience, and to introduce you to Cicerone’s huge range of nearly 150 trekking and cycle touring guidebooks.
